How we’re celebrating International Women’s Day

March 8 is International Women’s Day (IWD), the global event celebrating the advancement of women’s rights worldwide. In honor of IWD, Women’s World Banking is holding a series of digital events throughout the week preceding the 8th. We are putting the spotlight on the various ways our work has contributed to greater gender equality and the advancement of economic empowerment for low-income women worldwide.
