Ms. Nursalim is Vice Chairman of the Giti Group, a diversified group with real estate development, manufacturing, and consumer lifestyle presence partnering with world-renowned brands throughout the Asia Pacific region. Ms. Nursalim is Chairman of the U.N. global initiative Sustainable Development Solutions Network Southeast Asia, and serves as a Board Member of the International Chamber of Commerce and ICC Academy, as well as a Commissioner on the Business for Sustainable Development Commission.
Ms. Nursalim sits on the Asia and International Advisory boards for MIT Sloan School of Management and Columbia University, respectively, and is the honorary chairman for the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management’s Southeast Asia Alumni association and the university’s Institute of Philanthropy. She serves on the China Disabled Persons’ Foundation Board (China’s largest foundation) and is among the founding members of Global Philanthropic Circle in Synergos New York and the Asia Philanthropic Circle based in Singapore.
Ms. Nursalim is the Co-Chair for the Blended Finance and Innovation Forum for the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. She is a recipient of the Baiyulan Award from the Shanghai government, and a development award from the Singapore government for her founding board member role in the creation of the world-renowned Gardens by the Bay. She was awarded a “Young Global Leader” recognition by the World Economic Forum, and recognized among Forbes 40 philanthropists.
Ms. Nursalim holds a B.S. in Engineering science and Economics from Oxford University; an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School; and is a graduate of the “Young Global Leaders” program at Harvard’s Kennedy School. He previously worked as a research associate at the Harvard Business School, and has published an award-winning book on an American-Chinese architect.
