Andi Taufan Garuda Putra is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Amartha, a fintech P2P lending that digitizes the microfinance sector and provides alternative channels to capital for the unbanked population in Indonesia. He grew the company from inception to the organization with over 3,000 employees. To date, Amartha has disbursed over IDR 4.2 trillion ($300mn) loan to more than 700.000 micro-entrepreneurs in the villages and 100% of them are women.

Former Executive Advisor to The President of Republik Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, and Former Consultant, IBM. Recipient of numerous awards including: Young Changemaker (2010), Ashoka; Laureate Global Fellow (2013), International Youth Foundation; Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist (2018), EY; The Fintech 250 (2020), Crunchbase. Taufan holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School where he was an Edward S. Mason Fellow and bachelor degree in business from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
