TIME PERIOD: February – May, 2018

BACKGROUND
Women’s World Banking’s Gender Assessment Methodology serves to evaluate an institution’s gender diversity among staff and leadership, its recruitment, retention, reward and promotion of women as well as outreach to the low-income women’s market, product design, marketing, delivery channels and education programs.

OBJECTIVE
This assignment will serve to inform Women’s World Banking on market opportunities and to continue refinement of tools, templates and collateral.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Research gender assessment tools and market opportunity, providing an analysis of findings;
  • Assist with the refinement of templates, tools, concept notes and marketing collateral for gender assessment methodology;
  • Research on platforms for online assessment tool; and
  • Research on (1) regulatory hindrances to serving low income women in developing economies and (2) national financial inclusion strategy in select countries.

LOCATION
This position will be located in New York City, NY.

DURATION
The volunteer will be expected to commit one day per week to this engagement through May 2018.
