SoVonna Day-Goins

SoVonna Day-Goins is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse. She has spent over two decades at the firm primarily in the Global Credit Products business and, formerly, as the Head of Acquisition and Bridge Financing in the Investment Bank.

In February, she joined the Sustainability Strategy, Advisory and Finance team as the Global Head of Social Sustainability. Her primary mission is to drive the strategy and business of “S” within ESG for the bank, engaging with key stakeholder groups: private and institutional investor clients, corporates, the bank’s employees and external influencers. The mandate is to seek to enhance the bank’s product shelf by creating S-focused product across the IB and WM businesses and engaging with investors, rating agencies and the NGO community to expand Credit Suisse’s voice and presence in social sustainability. As a part of her passion for servant leadership and giving, SoVonna is the Chair of the Board for Comprehensive Youth Development (a non-profit organization providing wraparound services and post-secondary prep for certain NYC public high school students), a co-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Phoenix Productions Inc (a local non-profit community theatre company) and a newly appointed member of the board for City Harvest.

SoVonna is an African American female (pronouns: she/her). She and her husband reside at the Jersey Shore living on the land of the Indigenous People of the Lenape Tribe. They have two young adult daughters – a Millennial and a Gen Z.
