Caroline Kung is the Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer of the US Fund for Women’s World Banking Asset Management. She sets the strategic vision for the US Fund and leads deal execution and portfolio management of companies that improve the economic status and participation of women. Caroline has over 20 years of experience in investing, finance, and business strategy. Prior to founding the US Fund, she was a Managing Director at H.I.G Capital, where she focused on complex private equity investments and value creation. She has deep experience in a wide variety of industries including business services, technology, consumer, and healthcare. Earlier in her career, Caroline worked at GB Merchant Partners, Merrill Lynch, and Armani.
Caroline serves on the advisory boards of the Center for Women & Enterprise and the Women’s Foundation of Boston. She has been a speaker at numerous women’s investing conferences. Caroline earned an BA, magna cum laude with highest honors, from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
