Bio
Flavy Sen Sharma is the Regional Research Lead for South Asia at Women’s World Banking.
Prior to joining the organization, she was a Research Manager at J-PAL South Asia where she worked on randomized evaluations and managed research projects across several thematic areas such as agriculture, governance, and crime and violence in urban and rural India. Flavy has also supported projects on energy and environment and sustainable development at organizations like the Chatham House in London, Rockefeller Foundation in Bangkok and ICRIER in New Delhi.
Flavy earned a MSc in global politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a focus on international development and a bachelor of arts degree in history from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
