Bio

Onyeka is a Relationship Manager at Women’s World Banking Network team responsible for driving business development, cultivating & strengthening relationships with financial service providers and other key ecosystem stakeholders in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is an energetic, passionate and impact-driven financial services professional and women empowerment advocate with 11+ years’ experience in relationship management, business development, marketing and project management in Nigeria.

While excelling in sustaining loyalty of customers (individual and corporate) at one of Nigeria’s foremost financial institutions – Guaranty Trust Bank, Onyeka’s passion for women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion was manifest in her volunteer activities with Rendra Foundation, a non-governmental organization she founded in 2018, which has positively impacted over 500+ low-income women entrepreneurs including women in the internally displaced camps in Abuja Nigeria. Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, she led the financial inclusion team at one of Nigeria’s first Payment Service Banks – 9PSB.
Onyeka is a certified project manager, earned a degree in Agricultural Extension from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State and is a commonwealth scholar pursuing a master’s degree in international Development from the University of Birmingham UK.

She was recently recognized as a leading gender advocate at the at the 9th gender mainstreaming awards by Business Engage and Accenture where she was recognized as the 2021 West Africa Inclusive Leader Champion.
