Change

We are committed to driving large-scale global impact through strategic partnerships.

Our first She Counts cohort comes together

In March 2018, Women’s World Banking announced the launch of She Counts, a global platform that harnesses the power of best-in-class financial institutions to put savings and financial tools in the hands of women. To make that happen, we brought together: NMB, (Tanzania); CARD Bank, Philippines; Diamond Bank, Nigeria; and MaTontine, Senegal.

With an expandingGlobal Network, membershipdiversifies

This year’s network expansion effort focused on targeting a more diverse set of banks and FinTech companies. In 2019, we plan to recruit new players, including MNOs and insurance companies, in order to create systemic change across industries and markets.
