Position Overview

Title: Request for Qualifications (RFQ): Consultants for Women’s World Banking Projects
Classification: Full-time
Location and Duration: Flexible (India and/or international assignments)

Position Summary

WWB is seeking experienced consultants for empanelment to support a range of projects and strategic initiatives across financial inclusion, women’s economic empowerment, and BFSI ecosystems. Consultants will be engaged on a need basis to contribute to research, advisory, implementation, and capacity-building assignments.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Advisory

  • Contribute to consulting assignments spanning strategy, operations, financial inclusion, and institutional strengthening
  • Undertake primary and secondary research, including field-based assessments where required
  • Support design of frameworks, tools, and operational models

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights
  • Develop analytical outputs including dashboards, models, and reports
  • Translate evidence into policy, product, or programmatic recommendations

Proposal & Knowledge Support

  • Contribute to proposal development for donor-funded and fee-for-service engagements
  • Develop concept notes, technical approaches, and workplans
  • Support documentation of learnings, case studies, and knowledge products

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with financial institutions, government stakeholders, and ecosystem actors
  • Support workshops, consultations, and dissemination efforts
  • Contribute to client presentations and advisory discussions

Project Management Support

  • Support tracking of deliverables, timelines, and outputs
  • Maintain documentation and ensure quality assurance of outputs

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Business, or related fields
  • Typically 5–10+ years of relevant experience (flexible based on role seniority)
  • Demonstrated experience in development consulting, BFSI, or financial inclusion

Core Skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong research (quantitative and/or qualitative) skills
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Presentation and report-writing skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis platforms
