Title: RFQ: Website Consulting Team - Monthly Website Maintenance
Classification: RFP
Location and Duration: Remote
Duration of Consultancy: 12-month contract with option to renew

Position Summary

Women’s World Banking is seeking a highly qualified website consulting team to provide monthly website maintenance and support services. The consulting team will ensure that our WordPress-based website remains secure, up to date, and optimized to support our global audience, drive engagement, and reflect our mission and brand.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Routine Maintenance & Updates
    • Apply WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates
    • Perform backups and monitor backup system integrity
    • Conduct regular security checks and vulnerability scans
    • Monitor uptime and performance of the site
  2. Content Support
    • Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices
  3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
    • Monitor and resolve site errors, broken links, and usability issues
    • Provide timely support for bugs, slowdowns, or downtime incidents
    • Address compatibility issues across browsers and devices
  4. Performance & Analytics
    • Provide monthly performance reports (site speed, traffic trends, security status)
    • Recommend optimizations based on analytics data and user behavior
  5. Accessibility & Compliance
    • Ensure continued compliance with accessibility standards
    • Implement updates based on compliance audit findings as needed
  6. Strategic Consulting (as needed)
    • Advise on improvements to user experience (UX), structure, or functionality
    • Collaborate with internal teams on upcoming campaigns or digital initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing nonprofit or mission-driven websites
  • Expertise in WordPress CMS, SEO, Google Analytics, and accessibility best practices
  • Knowledge of web security standards and tools (e.g., SSL, firewalls, malware scanning)
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to respond to urgent issues within agreed timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multilingual website management
  • Understanding of nonprofit communications and stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing integrations (e.g., Pardot)

Measure of Success

  • Monthly retainer agreement with scope for additional project work as needed
  • Regular check-ins with the Brand, Marketing, and Communications team.
  • Reports delivered at the end of each month outlining work performed and recommendations
