2024 marked Women’s World Banking’s 45th anniversary and a year of extraordinary progress. By the end of the year, we had reached 87 million women and 48 million men with inclusive financial solutions, policies, and investments that drive systemic change.
These numbers represent far more than milestones. They reflect millions of women entrepreneurs, farmers, and families building resilience, growing businesses, creating jobs, and securing brighter futures. They also confirm what we know to be true: when finance works for women, it works for everyone.
The momentum continues in 2025. Our impact has grown to 91 million women and 54 million men, which means we are on track to reach 100 million women by 2027 two years ahead of schedule.
In this year’s Impact Report, you will discover how Women’s World Banking is:
- Linking financial resilience to climate resilience, ensuring women can withstand crises.
- Shaping global policy as the only accredited partner representing women in the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI).
- Partnering with financial institutions and investors to design inclusive products that serve women at scale.
Explore the stories, data, and partnerships behind these numbers and join us in building a financial system that unlocks growth opportunities for all.
