March 8 is International Women’s Day (IWD), the global event celebrating the advancement of women’s rights worldwide. In honor of IWD, Women’s World Banking is holding a series of digital events throughout the week preceding the 8th. We are putting the spotlight on the various ways our work has contributed to greater gender equality and the advancement of economic empowerment for low-income women worldwide.

“What does it take to be an inspiring woman leader?” A webinar-roundtable
Wednesday, March 5
Three women, three countries. Join women leaders from Uganda, Lebanon and Jordan for a discussion on how to inspire positive change in colleagues and clients. Gain the practitioner’s perspective on how an institution can create an environment that supports and fosters women leaders and the benefits of a gender diverse institution on the bottom line.
We hope you will join us for one of these events and take part in the movement to drive greater financial inclusion for women worldwide.
