In 2012, Women’s World Banking launched the Leadership Community, an exclusive community where alumni of Center for Microfinance Leadership programs can connect with peer experts from around the world; participate in discussion forums and webinars; access resources, search, share and create documents; give and receive peer coaching; and impact other leaders, their institutions and the industry. One member describes the Community as “a place where members can log in to meet in a virtual village to exchange thoughts and ideas and find solutions for everyday challenges.”
In celebration of our Community’s One Year Anniversary, we asked members to share photos of themselves working with their teams and to tell us their leadership philosophies. We are now pleased to share them with you through this video!
As we look back on the first year of our Community, we thank all of the members that have participated actively in sharing and creating knowledge on topics like empowering others, leading through crisis and promoting women’s leadership.
