Aryasilpa Adhikari
Bio
Aryasilpa (Arya) Adhikari is the Programme and Fundraising Lead at Women’s World Banking, based in New Delhi. She brings a cross-sector track record spanning financial services, development, and philanthropy.
Arya began her career at Intellecap, working on impact investing and inclusive finance, and later moved into structured finance and credit risk at Northern Arc Capital and Yubi, where she mobilized institutional capital across MFIs, MSME, housing, and small ticket commercial vehicle finance. She transitioned to the development sector with ACCESS Development Services, leading women’s economic empowerment and digital financial inclusion programs, and most recently led philanthropy and institutional partnerships at Khan Academy.
Arya holds a postgraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, where she focused on development, finance and sustainability. She also has a background in Information Technology, having trained as an engineer, which brings a structured, analytical lens to her work across finance and development.
Her work sits at the intersection of capital, capacity, and impact, with a strong focus on advancing women’s economic participation.
