Hadi Riachi
Bio
Hadi is the Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Re India Branch. Based in Mumbai, he is responsible for leading Swiss Re’s reinsurance business in India and overseeing all products and solutions for Property & Casualty and Life & Health, including innovative, non-traditional as well as public sector solutions.
Prior to his appointment, Hadi was Head North Africa based in Zurich (2018-2020) and lead the development of Swiss Re’s reinsurance business in the region.
Hadi joined Swiss Re Group in 2015 in Shanghai as Head Property & Specialty lines for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions China. In his role, he managed the development and performance of multiple lines of business including Property, Marine, Energy, Engineering, Credit and Surety amongst others.
Hadi is an experienced insurance professional having held several important roles in different markets. He started his career with RSA in Oman and since then he was appointed Regional Underwriting Manager for Asia and Middle East based in Dubai, Asia Underwriting and Reinsurance Manager based in Singapore and Technical Director for RSA China based in Shanghai.
Hadi earned his Bachelor of Science from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
