Mabel Omurambi

Mabel Omurambi is a Global Events and Communications Specialist with over a decade of international experience designing and delivering high-impact conferences, strategic convenings, and multi-stakeholder engagements across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. She joins Women’s World Banking as an Events and Engagement Specialist, supporting global events and engagement initiatives that advance women’s financial inclusion and economic empowerment, with expertise spanning event strategy, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and communications.

Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, Mabel worked with organizations including the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Amena Africa Consulting, and international business events platforms, convening governments, development partners, private sector leaders, investors, and SMEs to support market access and inclusive economic growth.

Mabel holds an MBA from Beijing Normal University, China and a BA in Communication, with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing, from Daystar University, Kenya. She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK).
