Bio

Sybel Fetta is Vice President at Women’s World Banking Asset Management, leading investment strategies in developing markets. She brings over a decade of private equity experience across Europe and the United States, with deep expertise in cross-border investment advisory and value-driven private equity investing.

She began her career at Alcedo, a top-tier Italian middle-market private equity firm, specializing in leveraged buyouts and growth equity investments across multiple industries. Notable transactions include leading Pixartprinting’s acquisition and eventual sale to Cimpress (NASDAQ: CMPR) in what The Wall Street Journal called “the largest transaction for online printing in Europe,” and Masi’s IPO on the Italian Stock Exchange, the largest capital raising on AIM Italy at the time.

In 2019, Sybel relocated to New York, serving as Director at Quantyx SIM, where she spearheaded cross-border investment strategies, bridging Italian institutional investors and HNWIs with premier primary, secondary, and co-investment opportunities across North American and European markets. She cultivated strategic relationships with leading GPs, LPs, global investment banks, and placement agents, strengthening access to high-caliber alternative investment opportunities.

Sybel graduated summa cum laude from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, earning both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance. She also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Sybel is a passionate advocate for financial inclusion and gender equity in investing, and a member of the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE). She is fluent in Italian, Romanian, and English.
