Position Summary
Women’s World Banking is seeking an experienced event producer or event production company, regionally based in South Africa, to support the planning and execution of the Women’s World Banking Financial Inclusion Forum. The selected partner will work closely with Women’s World Banking to ensure a high-impact, seamless, and engaging event experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Women’s World Banking Financial Inclusion Forum is a convening that brings together key stakeholders across the ecosystem including thought leaders, financial service providers, investors, policymakers, committed to advancing women’s financial inclusion. The Forum will be held in South Africa and will feature high-level plenaries, interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and innovative showcases of solutions that drive financial equality for women.
Women’s World Banking seeks an event producer or event production company to provide comprehensive event management services, ensuring the successful execution of this high-profile event.
Objectives & Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Logistics: Venue proposal and management, supplier coordination, contract negotiation, and on-site execution.
- Production Management: Overseeing all technical aspects, including AV, stage design, and live-streaming components.
- Program Execution Support: Coordinating speaker logistics, session management, and event run-of-show.
- Audience Experience & Engagement: Implementing best practices to create an engaging attendee experience, including registration and branding.
- On-Site Management: Leading event-day operations, troubleshooting, and ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
- Post-Event Reporting: Providing a debrief report summarizing key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in producing large-scale conferences or summits 0 200 attendees), preferably within the financial services, non-profit, or international development sectors.
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and budget management skills.
- Expertise in managing complex projects with international stakeholders on a senior level
- Comfortable working in a remote environment with a global team
- Existing established network with experience in working with public and private sector
- Expertise in technical production, AV management, and hybrid event solutions.
- Experience working with international organizations and high-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
