Vinith Kurian
Bio
Vinith Kurian is a research professional with over a decade of experience in applied research across financial inclusion, fintech innovation, and digital public infrastructure. His work focuses on generating actionable insights to inform product design, policy and practice, grounded in a strong mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative fieldwork, survey design and quantitative analysis. He is deeply interested in how new financial architectures can expand access and enable more equitable economic participation.
Vinith has previously worked with LEAD at Krea University, D91 Labs (a fintech research studio within Pine Labs), Scaling Trust (an emergent tech-policy initiative) and Finternet Labs, engaging across research, policy and innovation ecosystems in India and globally.
Vinith holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the Centre for Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Madras Christian College.
