Bio

Leslie Wetzel is the Chief Development Officer at Women’s World Banking, the global nonprofit devoted to giving more low-income women access to the financial tools and resources they require to achieve security and prosperity. She is responsible for developing and leading the organization’s philanthropic activities.

Prior to joining Women’s World Banking in 2019, she worked for the University of San Francisco, Accion, Earth College and Boston Private Bank and Trust. She was the founding Director of Women in Leadership & Philanthropy at USF and is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. She received her MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and her BA from Franklin & Marshall College.
