Bio

Rupal is a partner in the asset management practice within EY’s Financial Services Office, in New York. She has 20+ years of audit experience serving mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity clients. Rupal is also EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) Leader for the US Financial Services Office (FSO) across all service lines and enablement functions. GDS is EY’s service delivery arm set up in 5 countries. Her key strengths include developing and scaling talent, setting deliverable standards and improving quality to optimize delivery cost, within an international setting.

Rupal was instrumental in creating GDS for EY’s Advisory and Assurance service lines in India. She was seconded to Bangalore, India as the Location Leader from 2007-2012. She built the infrastructure from the ground up and today, GDS is a 40,000+ strong body that manages 15% of all America’s hours. Since her repatriation, Rupal, in her GDS leadership role continues as Liaison for India and Philippines performing oversight, governance with input on performance evaluation. She is the subject matter expert on building global service centers and location strategy.

Earlier in her career, Rupal was the CFO for a New Jersey-based fund-of-funds complex with $2 Billion AUM. Prior to her CFO role, she served as Vice President on Morgan Stanley’s Internal Audit team in their Wealth & Asset Management vertical.

Rupal is the partner sponsor for EY’s Today’s Families Network in the Tri-State area. She also sponsored the Pan-Asian Professional Network during her tenure in India. She has served as New Jersey’s Annual Gala Chairwoman, for CRY, an India based NGO dedicated to restoring children’s rights in health and education.

Rupal is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of New York and New Jersey.
