Prapti Sherchan
Bio
Prapti Sherchan is an Operations Officer at IFC, and the Asia lead for IFC Women’s Insurance Program. She joined IFC’s advisory services team in 2013, managing the relationship with the organization’s banking and insurance clients. Prapti, who is one of the core team members of the IFC Women’s Insurance Program, has been working with IFC’s insurance clients in Africa and Asia since 2015 to enable them to develop their women’s insurance strategy and innovative women-centric insurance products and services. Prior to joining IFC, Prapti worked with nonprofits and social enterprises in Asia, Africa, and the United States. She is currently based in New Delhi at the IFC India office.
Prapti is Nepali by origin, with an MBA from the Heller School of Social Policy at Brandeis University (USA) and a B.A. from the National University of Singapore.
