Bio

Ripsime is currently the Development Associate at Women’s World Banking. She has 10 years of experience working in international development.  Ripsime is particularly interested in understanding economic development in disputed territories and areas fighting for self-determination such as the Republic of Artsakh.

Prior to working with Women’s World Banking, Ripsime has been on the development teams of myAgro, American University of Armenia,  International Crisis Group, mothers2mothers Int, Community Impact at Columbia University amongst others.

Ripsime holds a Masters of Arts from Columbia University in Global Thought with an emphasis on Development Economics and a Bachelors from Occidental College in Los Angeles in Diplomacy and World Affairs.
