Title: Human Resources Recruitment Specialist

Summary:
Women’s World Banking is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to undertake hiring activities, administrative responsibilities and special projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about recruitment and has a broad understanding of other human resources areas. You will play a vital role in hiring the right people who align with our strategic initiatives, mission, values and behaviors.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment-70%

  • Manages the recruitment efforts for all non-managerial staff
  • Support Director in recruiting managerial staff
  • Coordinate with hiring manager to determine best recruiting process for position
  • Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
  • Conducts employment verifications; coordinates background checks and new hire assessments
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers
  • Maintains employee referral program
  • Schedules and conducts new hire orientations, and ensures a positive onboarding experience for new hires.

Administrative-20%

  • Maintains employee files and records in electronic form
  • Updates company organizational charts
  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics
  • Assist in performance management process
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

HR Projects-10%

  • Ad hoc projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and five to seven years of HR experience
  • Proven recruiting experience as an In-house Recruiter
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively within a multi-cultural environment and with people from diverse cultures and countries
  • Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Highly proficient technological skills especially in Microsoft Office Suite is essential
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, prioritize work according to urgency and importance.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR Certification
  • Fluency in Spanish, Arabic, and/or French.
