Responsibilities

The intent of this RFP is to have the firms under consideration specifically address the services required and provide a well-considered price proposal for those services.

Women’s World Banking is currently under lease negotiations where the landlord is providing nearly a “turnkey” space, which includes covering the cost of design, construction management, and construction. Women’s World Banking is seeking a firm with certified architects to serve as an independent contractor to coordinate with the landlord’s team while representing the best interests of our organization. The tasks could include, but may not be limited to:

  • Assisting in and providing verification of proposed floor plan layout;
  • Review of schematics to assure all infrastructure elements are accounted for;
  • Serve as a liaison or owners rep with the landlord’s architect and construction team
  • Assist in the selection of furniture systems;
  • Advise on interior design elements.

Women’s World Banking intends to have the lease negotiated and signed by April 15th, 2014. A key term is that all floor plans are agreed upon prior to execution. Women’s World Banking seeks to hire this consultant immediately to support this deliverable and continue through substantial completion, which is expected to be November 1st, 2014.
