SUMMARY

Women’s World Banking is seeking applications from qualified data consultants to provide technical expertise, data analysis and MIS dashboards. The consultant will perform institutional and client-level data analytics to support product design, marketing strategy and gender analysis projects.

 

OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected consultant will be responsible for analyzing transaction data provided by partner financial service organizations, building MIS dashboards and deriving insights on customer behavior through data, specifically focusing on gender.

The consultant will be required to perform the following services:

Business and action driven MIS and Analysis across different projects of Women’s World Banking: 

  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly MIS and analysis including development of dashboard (excel / digital) for monitoring key metrics and project performance
  • Customer and account level information analysis
  • Branch and Channel level information analysis including performance review and incentive payout computations for Business Correspondent (BC) & supervisors.
  • Indepth BC segmentation analysis to derive insights from performance of BCs across
  • Customer Research and Survey Analysis to assess performance of various marketing and community engagement initiatives conducted with customers.

Project monitoring, assessment and reporting  

  • Support monitoring and reporting across projects on targets and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders of Women’s World Banking including donor agencies, partner organisations

 Project Management and technical support 

  • Coordinate with the MIS and analytics team in banks and partner organisations
  • Understanding of data architecture and field capture mechanism for effective analysis as well as support in standardising queries and data request formats to be used for the project on an ongoing basis
  • Support in review and improvement of data analysis systems at the client end to ensure capacity building for long term projects
  • Designing cost and time effective data analysis and MIS formats which can be shared with WWB and the Bank for ongoing use

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6-8 years experience in data analysis, data visualization and dashboard building, particularly in the field of finance and banking
  • Experience in financial inclusion or retail banking highly desirable;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Statistics;
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills required;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and preferred experience in STATA/SAS/SPSS/R and worked on large datasets

 

DURATION OF CONSULTANCY

Consultant will be engaged through a contract for 6 months, with a start date in May 2021; which may be extended at Women’s World Banking’s discretion. They will be needed on multiple short-term & long term projects simultaneously.

 

LOCATION OF WORK

The consultant should be based in Lucknow, India.
