Women’s World Banking seeks to transform its IT support to better meet the business needs for performance, flexibility, stability and redundancy in India and upcoming locations around the globe. IT support is a critical component for the organization and is used daily by every employee, contractor, Job Center partner, and end-users to provide services to the community.

The direct beneficiaries of our work include low-income women customers of financial service providers in developing countries.

These network members serve as implementing, catalyzing, and strategic partners that help achieve Women’s World Banking’s mission.

About the Project
Women’s World Banking is seeking an entity to provide IT helpdesk support Level I, II, and III for our decentralize users in India (8-14 Users) with the ability to expand and provide support in, South East Asia, and Africa. The Consultant must demonstrate experience working and supporting remote users around the world based on Women’s World banking scope and requirements. This includes all configuration management and support of software products relating to workstations; timely response to repair and maintenance work for the user is critical.

 Objectives & Responsibilities

 The main tasks for this project will be but not limited to the following:

  • Manage local relationships with Hardware suppliers
  • Purchase and image workstation locally
  • ThinkPad X1 Carbon (6th Gen) 20KH
  • – Core i7 8650U / 1.9 GHz – Win 10 Pro 64-bit – 16 GB RAM – 512 GB SSD
  • Opal Encryption 2, NVMe – 14″ IPS touchscreen 1
  • User profile installation and configuration within the workstation
  • Provide the workstation personally or by delivery to the user’s location by the first day of the user’s employment
  • Provide onboarding in conjunction with a member of the NY IT Team
  • Report and follow up any local IT-related activity to the NY team
  • Provide remote desktop support as needed
  • Provide hardware support to the user’s location when needed
  • Managed Services for the following devices and systems as needed:
  • Laptops
  • Mobile Devices
  • Conference Systems Support(Skype for Business, MS Teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom, GoToWebminar)
  • Box, Salesforce, Office 365, CISCO Jabber, AD password reset
  • Ensure scheduled preventive maintenance for equipment is promptly performed as needed including changes, upgrades, patches, etc.
  • Documentation for network, security and support
  • Help-desk services

Respondent shall have access and be available during normal business hours with after-hours support required for system upgrades or emergencies

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to have a local physical presence in India, South East Asia and Africa in order to troubleshoot hardware issues when needed
  • Know and operate by local rules and systems regulations
  • Proposals need to identify one legal entity as the prime respondent that will hold contracting responsibilities and liabilities

    • Please provide a timeline with key milestones and roles of responsibilities of the contractor to achieve each milestone. Examples of a sample Integration Plan for onboarding or troubleshooting hardware for a client
    • Please provide specific risks you see related to this project and how your organization will manage/mitigate these risks through your project management approach.
