Women’s World Banking is seeking an experienced individual consultant on a retainer basis to deliver select content virtually (live online) for our suite of regional and in-house leadership and diversity programs.



The consultant will deliver virtual/ live online, dynamic, high-impact content to financial inclusion leaders including regulators and policymakers from around Southeast Asia. The consultant has content design, delivery and facilitation skills with particular expertise in the areas of:

  • Executive leadership development
  • Women’s leadership
  • Inclusion and diversity
  • Development of high-potential talent
  • Support for team effectiveness and development

Successful proposals will highlight consultant’s areas of expertise including specific topics and summaries of modules consultant has designed and/or facilitated.



Qualified  consultants  will  be  placed  on  retainer  for  a  one-year  period  with  the  option  to  renew annually for up to 3 years at Women’s World Banking’s discretion. Women’s World Banking expects to deliver 1-3 leadership trainings annually. The consultant will typically be responsible for delivering 4-6 modules per program. With all programs expected to be delivered virtually through 2022, each module is approximately 90-120 minutes. The first virtual engagement will be in Q4 2021 for an Indonesian institution.



  • 10+ years of experience designing and delivering dynamic and effective training sessions for audiences including high-potentials, senior managers and executives
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English. Programs are delivered in English.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to flex in the classroom (virtual or in-person) to meet emerging needs of learners
  • Content/curriculum development, including knowledge of latest research methodologies and practices related to leadership development
  • Expertise linking leadership competencies to business and policy outcomes
  • Comfort delivering own content and/or existing Women’s World Banking content



  • Consultant to be based in Southeast Asia



  • Work with global audience with experience in the markets of Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
  • Knowledge of finance sector, financial inclusion, regulation, and social impact
  • Experience as an internal or external leadership coach
