About Women’s World Banking

Women’s World Banking is the global non-profit devoted to giving more low-income women access to the financial tools and resources essential to their security and prosperity. For more than 35 years we have worked with financial institutions to show them the benefit of investing in women as clients, and as leaders. We equip these institutions to meet women’s needs through authoritative market research, leadership training, sustainable financial products and consumer education. Headquartered in New York, Women’s World Banking works with 38 institutions in 27 countries with a reach of 16 million women to create access to finance on a greater scale than ever before.

About the Project

In 2013 we underwent a rebranding exercise and seek a creative partner to continue to extend that brand to ensure we are finding new ways to tell our story and articulate the need to serve the 1.2 billion women who do not have access to a bank account. We work across media including but not limited to: digital/social, print, video, and in-person events. Our primary audiences include financial institutions globally, regulators, private sector partners, and government/ multilateral agencies, all with the same goal of influencing these audiences to ensure women are included in outreach and policy. We also seek to influence the general public to be advocates for women’s financial inclusion, primarily via digital media.

We are looking for a creative partner who understands our goals, can deliver engaging and persuasive content in various formats and help us think about innovative ways to measure the effectiveness of storytelling initiatives. The ideal agency will be a thought partner who can help craft a strategy for leveraging creative and content to drive stakeholders to close the gender gap in access to finance. We are seeking a strategic approach to reaching our target audiences that leverages all channels. This will include content strategy development, segmentation by audience and development of assets (video, digital, events or experiential, print, etc.)


The agency will create a content strategy including dissemination approach, propose tactics, design creative across different formats and in some cases execute content creation from start to finish.

The agency will work within the budget range of 100k to 150k

Preferred Qualifications

Our preference is for a full-service creative agency, with some presence in New York. The core team should have experience in strategy, design, influencer engagement and executing for digital channels including coding.  We value tenure of existing client relationships and the ability to provide an umbrella content strategy in addition to developing creative solutions that effectively tell our story in both print and digital.
