About the Project

Women’s World Banking is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media and Marketing Coordinator consultant to join our Marketing and Communications team. In this role you will execute, monitor, and measure our social media and digital marketing strategy with the goal of elevating our digital presence as a global thought leader across social and digital channels. You should be an excellent writer and have experience in social media and graphic design. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is energetic, organized, creative, and self-motivated to join our busy global marketing and communications department. This is a part-time consulting role with an estimated 20-25 hours per week.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy across multiple platforms to target defined stakeholders
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms
  • Collaborate with marcoms, PR, and business lines to create and manage to an integrated social media calendar
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content – write blog posts, social media posts, website copy as needed
  • Implement content-driven campaigns on LinkedIn and Twitter predominately, with secondary emphasis on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different digital media channels.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Design external facing decks and visual assets
  • Manage brand and creative assets library
  • Assist in department monthly tracking and reporting
  • Design and edit graphics for print or web as needed
  • Support Digital Marketing Specialist’s efforts in executing a digital marketing strategy and management of President and CEO’s digital profile – create e-mails, digital links, landing and splash pages to assist in direct marketing efforts as needed

 

Duration of Consultancy

October 2022 – December 2022

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 3 years experience with B2B social media marketing or content development
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
  • Experience with Canva and/or Power Point to create design-driven decks and assets

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Data visualization or infographic design
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Proven organization and planning framework skills
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Experience with content, event, video hosting on social media such as LinkedIn Live
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adept in planning, prioritizing, organizing, and follow through;
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively, and under pressure of tight deadlines;
  • Commitment to women’s economic issues;
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and project management skills; and
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French.
