Helping Investors Promote Inclusive Finance

Women’s World Banking Capital Partners Fund is a private equity limited partnership that makes direct equity investments in women-focused financial institutions. This investment strategy builds on our belief that investors can influence institutions to ensure that women clients are part of their growth strategy and future profitability and that women leaders are part of the institution’s future.

Why Gender Lens Investing?

Gender lens investing is not about pursuing gender equality as a social good for its own sake; it is also a strategy for financial outperformance. Investing in women as clients and as talent leads to stronger institutions, better returns and a more equitable world. Women’s World Banking leverages its investment expertise along with its technical assistance capabilities to showcase the financial and social returns of being a gender lens investor.
